Picnicking at Georgia State Parks

Picnicking

Hungry? Why not enjoy a meal in nature's kitchen. All Georgia parks have scenic picnic areas and grills available to the public. But if you don't want anyone to rain on your parade you can reserve your favorite spot by calling ahead. Open-air picnic shelters can be reserved for a fee up to 11 months in advance. Some enclosed group shelters can accommodate up to 250 people and include tables, chairs, grills, kitchens and restrooms. These facilities can be reserved up to 11 months in advance as well. Just look up any individual park for more information on picnicking.
